7-Day Monitoring and Evaluation Manager Program

Program Overview:

This program will show you how to improve Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities and programs. You will learn how to use input, output, outcome and impact indicators to assess health system and program performance. You will also learn how to assess the quality of the data gathered by the existing health information system (HIS) and find ways to improve the HIS. You will help others use data and make informed decisions. You will learn how the HIS needs to work to ensure you have the right information and can use it to get better results. You will also learn the do’s and don’ts of how M&E works in global health, in projects, NGOs and global health initiatives. You will learn to design and implement M&E interventions that ensure the development and strengthening of a country’s health information system.

Through this program, you will be able to contribute to the use of effective and reliable information that serves all stakeholders’ agendas. You will learn to use scorecards and dashboards, which are becoming standard practice in global health. You will learn how to create them, introduce them and use them. You will create your own performance scorecard to measure your own effectiveness and of your organization or project performance. This program will teach you how to use these tools to effectively monitor and improve outcomes and make a bigger and lasting impact.

How the program works:

A week is the perfect unit of time to begin creating the efficient M&E program that provides quality information for action. In this program, you will learn how to work differently and manage your day to achieve your monthly targets. Every day you will receive a lesson by email and an assignment for you to apply what you learned. You read the lesson, think about it, and do something with what you just learned. After completing your daily assignment, send it back to your personal coach for feedback. Every week, there will be a lesson and discussion with Dr Elvira on Zoom so you can ask all your questions and share with other students.

You will receive a certificate after you complete all assignments including a “M&E Success Plan”. In just 7 Days this program will help you ensure your clinic is leading the way in quality healthcare in your community and can run smoothly with or without you there! You will get free weekly coaching for three months to implement your “M&E Success Plan” and advance your career as recognized efficient M&E manager!
