Breakthrough Track

  • What is a Breakthrough Program?
    A Breakthrough program is an RGH program that is designed to help you and your project/program break through obstacles and challenges that are slowing or preventing success. This type of program is different from a Catalyst program which is designed for more experienced people to leverage their experience and achieve large scale, sustainable change - it is not focused on an an immediate obstacle as with the breakthrough programs.

General Questions

  • What programs do I need on my computer to complete the course?
    You need to be able to open Microsoft Word documents and PDF documents. There are free alternatives to this software and our program specialist will be happy to assist you with any assistance you may need. You will, however, require an internet connection, as the entire course is conducted by email. In addition, we recommend that you download skype (www.skype.com). We use Skype to conduct the online coaching sessions. If you do not have these programs, you can complete the program without the online coaching sessions.
  • Do I have to be online at a specific time to participate in the program?
    No. You complete the work on your own schedule, at whatever time works for you. You can access all materials via the RGH Portal, or you can request to receive daily emails. All coaching sessions are scheduled as needed.
  • How much time does the program take?
    In general, participants spend an hour or two each day on reading and writing assignments. Weekends are for rest and reflection, and you will not be assigned work for those days.
  • What if I need to cancel?
    If you need to cancel for any reason prior to the start of the course, contact us immediately and we can refund your fee. If you cancel after the course begins, we ask that you contact the coach. If it is a matter of scheduling or conflicting priorities, we can always work out a plan to make sure you succeed. If you are not satisfied with the program, see our guarantee policy.
  • What is a Strategy Session?
    Organizations that contact RGH to provide training for their staff or partners will meet with RGH to discuss goals and strategies in order to make the training effective for the individual participants and help the organization assure their return on investment by reaching institutional goals. Strategy session may include objectives for the organization (how to best utilize the training to meet the organization’s objectives, program scheduling, participant reporting schedule, troubleshooting/problem solving, other logistics, etc.
  • How long is a Skype call?
    The first call is typically 30 minutes and follow up calls are 15 minutes. Each call is preceded with a simple pre-call questionnaire the participant is asked to complete which sets the agenda for the call to make it efficient and effective.
  • What is your Money Back Guarantee?
    We provide a money back guarantee for all programs. If, for some reason you find you are not satisfied with the program, let us know within the first 7 days after the start of the program, provide reason for withdrawal, and you’ll receive a full refund. Guaranteed. Remember that you can’t get results from something you don’t do. It’s as simple as that. We believe that the more committed you are to succeeding, the more energy you will put in and the greater results you will see. If you wish to apply this guarantee, we simply ask that you submit a letter stating why you are not satisfied.

Registration

  • I can’t take the upcoming class, is it going to be offered again?
    We offer a selection of programs on a rotating basis. If you would like know when a course will be offered again, check out our Upcoming Programs page, or contact us and we can schedule another based on demand.
  • How do I register a group?
    Simply contact us to schedule a free consultation and let us know that you want to register a group. We will coordinate the details and discuss any other special needs you may have and answer any additional questions.
  • How do I sign up?
    Select a program from our Programs Catalog by clicking the image and following the links to register. Complete the registration form and submit payment. You will receive a welcome email and information on how to access the RGH portal at the scheduled start of the program.
  • Can I choose any program I want?
    Yes! We have a list of regularly scheduled programs available to sign up for any time. If there is a program that is not currently scheduled, contact us and we will with you to find a time to make it available to you.

RGH Programs

  • Who participates in the HFAN program?
    The participants come from all over the world--Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe and the North America. They work at NGOs, hospitals and in other community organizations and have degrees ranging from a high school diploma to MDs and PhDs.
  • What kinds of things will I learn in the Health For All Now program?
    The program is designed to help you take your experiences and identify concrete steps to achieve your goals in public health. It is a coaching program tailored to each student, but it will not be like a college class where you learn facts or theories.
